Haskell Road Sale Tops Nine Peru Property Transfers in July
Peru recorded nine property transfers between July 3 and Aug. 1, though only four listed a sale price, ranging from $70,000 to $980,000, with a median of $131,916. The month's largest sale was 13 Haskell Road, which sold for $980,000 to James and Twila Weaver from the Haskell Road Land Trust. Several other deeds named banks, credit unions or mortgage servicers as buyer or seller rather than private individuals, and the town of Peru acquired 8 Kreutzer Road from the estate of Shelley D. Cook. With most sale prices undisclosed, the data offers limited grounds for characterizing overall market conditions this period.
